Can anyone help me attribute this over mint mark? It doesn't look like the normal D/S or a D/D. I have two with the exact same horizontal dash in the center of the D mint mark. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Die chip inside the mintmark? i doubt it's an OMM. All I'm going on is it doesn't resemble any 1938-D Buffalo OMM I've ever seen.

Mine shares very similar characteristics to yours however, on mine the top of the "S" is a bit more prominent. That might be the angle though. What OMM it is is not provided on the PCGS OGH. Try CONECA yet?
Yours appears to be an OMM-4. I have one with the same look that is graded by ANACS as an OMM-4 or D/D/D.

Okay FS-514. That little hicky inside the 'D' doesn't make sense to me as being part of an under 'S' or 'D'. Scrap die chip theory. I'm not one to argue with Fivaz-Stanton.

Just what I was looking for. Thank you very much!

I agree with Jim it looks like you have a OMM-004 the size of the "D" seems smaller less space inside the "D" as described in the book.
