I know nothing about the dark side especially currency. I found this in back seat of an old car I bought. Wondering if it is worth anything.

I think that in this condition it's only worth a dollar or two. This design was issued over several decades but I think that they need to be in better grades to start to have any significant value.
Perhaps a VG Indian Head Cent would be a good analogy. If it were UNC, you'd have something but not much interest in VGs.

I believe Russell is dead on. Here’s a recently sold listing from eBay. This example is in much better condition than the OP’s note.

I think that I like it better in blue. The detailed Citadelle vignette is impressive and better seen on nicer grade examples. I hope that they tip their pizza delivery guys well.
