the nets scored 35 points in the second half. turned the ball over consistently and shot an amazing number of three's without making many. not a fan of either. most, if not all of the turnovers, were just straight up unforced. really tough to figure out how they finished sixth.

Its because they were competing in the 2nd to 4th seed range before KD & Kyrie were traded. They were pretty good until Kyrie decided he didn't like the Nets extension they were offering so he asked out,KD did too a week later. The roster they had after the trade deadline played good enough to not fall into the play-in.
They may have played like crap tonight but, IMO,that team is one solid Star player away from competing in that 76ers/Cavs/Knicks group. They scored enough draft picks in their KD/Kyrie trades that they can make a real solid offer for that next superstar that comes available.
