This is the rarest variety for the year and an extremely pleasing piece, even has some mint luster left, surprisingly. It is a very high quality piece, nicer than the pics.

If you’re considering this you know just how tough these are to get problem free. I’m not aware of another problem free Guatemalan 4 reales that’s currently available, let alone for the year, let alone a very rare variety.

To my knowledge the only sale of this same variety was last year in a Stacks Auction. It was a slightly higher grade (VF25) and sold for $1,440.
