I plucked these 1700s Spanish 2-reales pieces from a “melt bucket” lot. The 1723 had an interesting unknown counterstamp I never identified.
Purchased for $4 which then in the late 1980s was about melt.
Love foreign constitutional 90%. It's what I can get at spot these days.
I buy Australian 1966 50 Cents regularly at auction since i am also a silver stacker.
Sometimes I get lucky in those lots and get a gem or two.... (at melt)
