Seems like Boston will break the Montreal Canadians point record of 132 set back 1976-77. A 46 year old record not something you see broken very often in any sport.

A great accomplishment, but now the real work begins. If they dont finish the job and win the cup, they will go down like the 2007 Patriots.

Not a Habs fan, but does this get an asterisk because of ot wins? Montreal had 12 ties. Not trying to take away from the Bruins accomplishment.

No the Bruins hold the record things may change in the NHL over time but Boston has the record now.

Nice comeback win to end their season. It looks like they're getting the Florida Panthers in round one. I honestly don't follow hockey so I don't know if that is a easy round 1 opponent or not.

Should be easy for Boston but with playoff hockey you just never know. My guess is Boston will beat them. Boston will most likely end up in the Stanley Cup final again like I said we will have to wait and see what happens.

I actually wish they would go back to the 5-5-7-7 format, I think it would make for some great games in the later series with the teams not being so tired and/or beat-up.
But, I know there is too much money involved to take away games.
