Last happened in 1995-96 Mario Lemieux.
Great season for McDavid!
That is some pretty good company.
I wonder if Nicholls will ever make the HOF?

that is some very very exclusive company. I suppose that cements McDavid as one of the very top tier players of all time
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Nope. He really only had the one great season and it's viewed as a fluke as a result of Wayne Gretzky joining the Kings. Bernie had a tremendous career - 1200 points - but no one (probably not even Bernie's family) thinks he belongs in the Hall.
I agree

Here is the goal that did it. https://youtu.be/gbIatw8YAxI
Not quite yet.
could be a bit early.
as a question, do you think this is Connor's peak or do you think this is the beginning of a higher goal-scoring Connor?
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
There's a lot to indicate he's become a fantastic player, the last two years. Prior to that, he was a very good set up guy and a decent goal scorer.
He has stayed healthy and has started scoring goals big time.
He can get better, stay at this level, or drop off. Who can say? I would think this is his peak, awfully hard to get much better.
He plays on a high scoring team, so that helps. Avoiding injury is probably the biggest factor.
