Turnaround Time for Value Grading?

PSA says that the estimated turnaround time for Value Grading is 65 days. Is this actual days or work week days? What are the actual turnaround times you are experiencing? Thanks!

All Days estimates are based on business days, not calendar days. It is an estimate, not a guarantee. You might see an order completed more quickly than estimated, but it is likely it will take several more days than the estimate.

Are we sure? My buddy sent in his first submission last month. They got the sub on the 7th and he had the cards back on the 27th. I was under the impression they were still doing first in/first out so I got all excited to put a submission together.

But sniffing around it seems like there are still wait times surpassing the estimates?

It partly depends on the speed of the "lane" that your submission goes into. Had a TCG special only take 30 calendar days, while another one sent at the same time is still in QA2.

If your sub is all ultra-modern, I imagine it gets through quick.
Just slap a 9 or 10 on everything, unless there's something obvious.
    Easy turnaround.
