I have $20 gold liberty that is slabbed and graded by PCI. Did that hurt the value?

Should I take it out? It’s scored MS62. I’m new to this. I’m not actually a coin collector. I’m just getting into buying gold.

    Welcome to the forum! :)

It doesn't hurt the value but it could be worth more in a PCGS or NGC holder.
Don't crack it out unless you are sending it in for grading.

In this case the value is in the coin, not the holder.
Many of these third tier graders are known for over grading so don’t put too much
stock in it being a MS62.
If you are going to sell it in the future, best to get it resubmitted as mentioned above,
if you are going to keep it, no harm in leaving it as it is.

The holder holds no value. You can crack it out if you wanted to.

You can sell it to me and then you don't have to worry about it any more.

Collector of what ever looks good to me today.
