Help with Large Cent Attribution-tough one

jesbrokenjesbroken Posts: 10,113 ✭✭✭✭✭

If you would, I need some help to attribute this 1796 Head of 97(my thought) Draped Bust Large Cent, reverse not visible at all. I feel enough is there to narrow it down considerably. Upright of E in LIBERTY is slightly left of peak of hair wave, upright of R is over hair wave, upright of T is fully over the hair. This should insure the Head of 97, but then without the reverse I'm at a loss. Hope someone might be able to go a step further. Thanks.
Jim

    WOW.

That coin really fulfilled what it was meant to do: circulate.
