I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum or not, but here goes; Does anyone know why it's all over YouTube that the 1981 Canadian penny is worth $350. dollars? And is it really worth that much?

    In Canada they are called CENTS. A penny is UK currency.
    There is no way a 1981 cent is worth that much, even in MS 67 condition
    plus there where over 1 BILLION minted.
    Don’t believe everything you see on YouTube, they are just trying to garner hits.
    Does it say why it was worth that much?

    Because YouTube is chock full of misinformation.

    That came from rod Paulsen. I also have 1936 not sure about dot, but the previous owner was going to make it a necklace charm. Well stated making a hole.I give 2 dollars for it.
