Trade my 1702 Bigfoot coin for your ... ?
Howdy. Here's a nice big 321-year-old silver coin with a Bigfoot on it.
No, really. You see, the much earlier European prototype of the Bigfoot legend was the Wild Man, so European Bigfeet were more humanoid than apelike.
'Nuf trivia. Let's talk about coins.
I'd like to swap this one for something else. Below is a link to my collection so you can see the sort of stuff I have (and what I might need in US Type, for example).

I was asking $465 for the Wildman below, but have since reduced that price to $435, which is essentially my cost, after slabbing.
But let's talk trades, if you have something of similar value (US or World, preferably slabbed).
Anyhow, here's the Wildman:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*~
German States (Brunswick-Lüneberg-Calenberg-Hannover): silver 24 mariengroschen (2/3 thaler) of George I, 1702
NGC UNC details, cleaned. Cert. #6680061-001. (Full slab images on cert page- see link.)
KM-15, Numista-39913. Ex-Karl Stephens, January 2023.
Karl Stephens did mention it was "lightly brushed" on the obverse, which is no doubt why it received a "cleaned" notation and details grade from NGC. However, said old cleaning is subtle, as you can see, and the coin has attractive old cabinet toning which compensates for that.
I bought this at Mr. Stephens' table at the 2023 FUN show in Orlando, and submitted it to NGC at the show, so it is newly slabbed and just back from NGC.
Just for fun, here's a fun and informative little YouTube video a friend of mine created about these "Wildman" coins. (Not this coin in the video, but a similar type.)
C'mon, now there's a thread title you don't see every day, right?
Hmmm....sort of looks like my friend Scott! Nice coin and I agree, the toning offsets the cleaning.
