Lustrous 1853 10c, PCGS AU58 (#46219977). The variety is Fortin 105, which has massive die cracks on the reverse and is one of the finest seen. As the photo shows, the vertical crack through the last S in STATES rides on top of the wreath and extends down to the I in AMERICA. Quite scarce in this die state and grade. The eye appeal is waaaay nicer that the photo indicates. I'll try to take a better photo when time permits.......$379 shipped
Most recent sales of this variety by GFRC: PCGS VF30CAC $275 Oct 2021; PCGS AU53CAC $300 Dec 2019
