This is a commem I've always liked and finally have acquired an example!
Does anyone else have a toned 2001 Buffalo Commemorative Dollar? Please post yours or any other 21st century toned commemorative.

I saw it on Instagram or Facebook …I forget. It’s beautiful and a toned proof is extremely hard to find. I wonder if it was in a PCI holder?
I had an uncirculated toned version, not nearly as bright but, it was in a newer PCI holder. Those don’t tone as super.

    Thank you!
    It was Instagram :)
...and I've only seen one other before in hand (at a show). It was very nice (also a proof and even more vivid) but the dealer wanted something like $10k!

As far as the toning, my guesses would be either a PCI holder or the felt from the original mint packaging (when the capsule is loose and the environment is right, I have seen it happen-the 2011 Silver Eagle sets were a good example of this).
