I was perusing Ebay this evening and came across this nice 1852 rattler LC. I noticed that my LC sets had every type of holder except a rattler. The clincher was it is an upgrade from my current MS62. I didn't hesitate and pulled the trigger immediately. I haven't seen a rattler LC for quite a while. Let me know what you think and show me some more rattlers.

Great coin! It's almost certainly undergraded, but I tend to prefer a 63 in a "rattler" over a 64 in a new-generation holder. Thanks for sharing.
Nice large cent.
I'm embarrassed to admit what I paid for this one....
But, I have yet to see another Rattler GEM CAC and with this level of thumb and skirtline detail for the issue.

I believe this came from Gary Adkins, over 20 years ago. My only rattler LC, also my only “greenie”.
I’ve turned down stupid $ for it, but it is nfs.
I can't imagine there are too many large cents extant in rattlers. Here is one from my favorite classic commem issue. As for the label, you would think PCGS might have been able to squeeze a U into the end of the name, wouldn't you?

Copper is hard to find, Lincoln cents are out there just not much.
I have one half cent & one Indian cent, 3 Lincolns, no 2 cent pieces.
