1929 $20 Atlanta Star with a nice back story.

Purchased for $200.

I learned the previous owner was the original owner of the bill since childhood. His father had held on to the bill as a reminder that he'd gotten through the great depression, and passed it to his son in the 1950's. It sat inside of a bible for over 60 years. Bible sold at an estate sale in Cumming, GA for $7.50, unbeknownst to the buyer (and seller) there was a $20 inside. I contacted the original owner and got the story. He hadnt realized it was inside the Bible, but he needed the money.
I recently had it graded.. 8,000 printed, less than 12 recorded. Worn, but very hard to find.

When I saw it, I knew it was a tough one, but didn't realize how tough + the fact only 8,000 were printed.
