In 2013, I went to Chicago for the CICF. Inspected three lots. Went to the auction that night
and won all three with money to spare. Next morning I went to pay. No credit card for transactions
over $2000. I could split it up and pay the balance with cash. No go. Mail us a check when you get
back to the house. Monday morning I FedEx a check. To my surprise, the three coins are on my
front poarch Tuesday evening. I've bid two other times and was severely shutout. By the way, they
served a buffet at the auction that night. The potatoes were the best I've ever eaten.

By the look of your avatar, you are still licking your chops over those potatoes!

I'll finish the story. I made a comment to one of the servers about the potatoes. Five minutes
later the chef came out to thank me. I told him they were delicious. He smiled and thanked me.
My avatar is the one CU assigned me when I joined. I used to have a male orange tabby. I miss him.

OK, I'll be the first to admit I'm a "small-time" collector. I've never bought a five-figure coin. In fact, not very many four-figure coins,. I recently won a coin in a Heritage weekly auction. The check cleared according to my bank on Feb. 22. Called Heritage
today (March 8) and coin is "in process of being shipped." Anyone else having similar issues?

Once you have a reputation they will treat you different. There a scams with checks that can take 10 business days to find out if it actually clears.

I have an open accounts with HA, they ship when they ship. The last coins were over 5 week in shipping, then 2 days to me.

The only thing I can suggest is DO Not send any coins for grading. They charged my credit card back on Feb 7th for my 4 coin order grades and trueviews are done. My coins are just sitting there and I even sent an email asking why the holdup and was told that they will send them back when there ready?

Really? 1 month and still no coins. Totally disappointed in the service they are providing......

Please feel free to send me a private message with the applicable information, so that I can check on your order for you. You mentioned that your coins "are just sitting there", but I don't know when or if they have been returned to us by the grading company Thank you.

As I stated in an earlier reply, been dealing with them since 1985. Things weren't always like this. I understand
that there are bad actors out there. But, if I've dealt with someone for almost 40 years and never caused a problem or sent them a check that bounced, you'd think I'd get the benefit of the doubt. I guess I don't yet have a "rep" yet.
Probably do now, and not a good one.
