The DC Defenders fans got upset when security took away there beer snake, so they started throwing lemons onto the field.

Here is the beer snake, over 1,200 cups were used to form the snake which stretched from the top of the stadium to the bottom.
It was a wild atmosphere, the fans also started a profane chant about Dan Snyder, which I cannot discuss here.
Oh yeah, and then the game ended with a brawl between both teams.
So it's living up to its billing, top to bottom?

How incredibly myopic of security to take away such a harmless, fun thing the fans, you know, the people who pay for the tickets that support the team and payroll?, were enjoying. It's become a tradition.
Nothing like toasting an otherwise fun loving thing for the home crowd. When you think about it, they were actually performing a service by collecting all those beer cups, saving the clean up crew a lot of time and effort.
DUMB, DUMB!!
Guessing there isn't much else for the fans to do? Obviously they aren't there to watch the game -
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
