You are looking at the Isle of Capri, about 12 miles west of the town of Positano, Italy. A stunning view from up high!
You take a 30 minute ferry to and from the Isle. The high viewpoint is looking down at the small town, just off center to the right. Awesome place !!!
My OP was a bit misleading. I was in Capri 2 years ago, just thought I'd post some pics now and then about places we've visited and encourage people to travel if and when they can. Just thought I'd have a bit of fun with guys trying to guess where the pic(s) are.
Capri was indeed a wonderful experience. I'll have to choose my OP subjects a bit more clear.
Only trips on the horizon for us is a week in late April. Rented a beachfront home on St George Island, FL. Then in early December gonna take a Hawaiian Islands cruise to celebrate # 45 !! Can't believe she's put up with me that long!! We've been to Hawaii a couple of times, but have never seen it from well offshore on a boat. The cruise spends 2 days in Maui, and 2 days on Kauai, perfect for us to rent a car and revisit places we've enjoyed there.
