How to get an accurate declared value on trading cards

Hello

I have a set of Pokemon Trading Cards in a very good state. I'd like to get them graded, but I don't know how to get an accurate declared value.

The PSA website states that to get a grading on cards using any of the service levels, any given card must have a declared value of $500 or less. How can I know how much my cards are worth so I can choose the correct service level?

Thanks in advance

You have to guess and/or using your expertise decide what grade the card will get when graded. Then you would declare that value at most. Some declare for less if it gets you a cheaper submission level. What it is NOT, is the raw (ungraded) value of the card....

Check eBay sold history to see what things are going for in the grade you expect to receive. Don’t use current listings - they are likely widely overinflated compared to what people are actually spending.

Spoiler alert: Your cards aren't in as great of shape as you think they are.
