Has Anyone Dealt with Project 2013B?

Yesterday I received an email from what was formally the Zegers/Winograd Project informing me that I have a potential matching pair while requesting images of my note. In turn, I submitted the images as requested, and I was informed earlier today that my note is part of a verified matching pair. I don't buy their pie-in-the-sky estimates of $15k, as auction records beg to differ. That said, I was wondering if any of you have ever dealt with a comparable situation or have any experience with the process.
Here's the note in question:

I have submitted a note myself but there has not been a match identified as of yet. From what I’ve read there has almost been as much difficulty getting the two people with the matched pair to agree upon a price for one person to sell the note to the other as there has been finding a match.
As far as a valuation goes, I’ll let our more knowledgeable forum members provide their insight since this is outside my wheelhouse.
Personally and respectfully, if I had a match and another person had a match, I wouldn’t pay more than $750 for their note. Maybe it’s me, but I’m just not impressed with these pairs.
I have entered many, no match notifications yet. Stars got to align for a jackpot. Condition of both notes, perceived value by each party and who's selling to whom. Should be interesting. Good luck.

Please forgive my newbie question, but what is a matching pair? I have collected coins for many years, but I'm pretty new with currency.

This has some good info.
Na, it smells like a "pump and dump" scheme.

May 13, 2023 — PROJECT 2013B has it's 44th confirmed match! There are now 56 confirmed matching pairs over the history of this project, 2017. The values have been somewhat inflated over the years.. They depend on the condition of your bill.. go look on E-bay..
I thought that I read on another forum that at least parts of the 2013B website are behind a paywall these days. This doesn't seem unreasonable and at the same time is likely beneficial to current matched pair holders. About the last thing that any owner wants is for more examples to keep popping up.
What’s the current purchase price of a matched note for a buyer obtaining a note from the collector that has a matching number ?
I’m guessing it depends upon condition, so let’s assume it’s uncirculated.
I would sell mine if I got a match, unless they agreed to something ridiculously cheap.

EAGLE SCOUT.. I have posted many bills and I have matches.. each person has a different idea of the value of their note. Johnny the administrator @ 2013B project is terrific.. just follow his instructions for the best result.. Whoever you are matched with is the person you need to deal with in the beginning. Trying to decide if you want to sell your bill or to buy theirs as a pair or as individuals, you need to decide. Your bill looks pretty good but not uncirculated or really clean. I don't see any real bad creases, etc. This is some things people look at when considering weather they want to buy or sell. You can always decide to send the bills to Johnny and tell him you want to sell to the owner of the duplicate bill or sell as a pair in an auction. He will handle most everything for you. Don't over think the value of your bill.. in the end it is only a $1.00 bill. Best of luck negotiating.
