I have this 1885-CC that appears to have attributions I'm unable to locate in VAM world or anywhere else. The reverse seems to have a lot of doubling going on from the right star through much of the lettering "UNITED STATES'OF AMERICA" and "DOLLAR". Hopefully these pics will demonstrates well enough of what I'm referring to:
Opinions are welcomed. New VAM or not?

Would love to help but it's kinda hard without full coin photos of both sides.
Date position and mint mark position helps also.
Thanks! @ifthevamzarockin
Maybe these will help? Shot in two different lightings:

It kinda looks like a Vam 3 you may have a later die state than what is shown on Vamworld.
The crumbled or pitted star may be listable.
Check and see if you can see the die scratches in the eye.
Yes the die scratches are prevalent just like the pic from Vamworld.

Okay, you have a Vam 3 with a late die state.
Let's see if @messydesk will chime in and give a little more information about the damage to the star.
This is actually an early die stage of VAM 3. The full-coin picture on VAMWorld that doesn't show the junk around the star has had the reverse polished a little, removing what was leftover junk from hubbing the die that wasn't polished off in the first place. It also shows cracks that are not on your reverse. I would not list these separately unless close examination of both die stages indicated it was warranted.
