~BOTH OF THESE COINS HAVE NOW BEEN SOLD~

1836 Newcomb-6, late die state, raw VF+.
This piece has nice surfaces and a neat little cud at the top of the obverse. Numismedia FMV trend price is $83 in VF20 and $168 in XF40. In my opinion, this piece grades right down the middle between those, at VF25 to VF30-ish. There is an earlier discussion thread about this coin.
Asking $89, which includes free US shipping.

Color is slightly browner than the lighting in these pictures indicates.

1854, Newcomb-10, PCGS AU58 (ex-NGC MS62 BN).
This coin was reportedly once in an NGC MS62 BN holder. I was given the insert for that when I bought it. It was apparently was cracked out of the former NGC slab by a previous owner, perhaps to include it in a Dansco 7070 or similar type set album. I'll include that old insert. I sent it to PCGS but it didn't fare quite as well there. For the record, I do think the current PCGS AU58 grade is accurate. PCGS trend price is $210 in AU58. Numismedia FMV trend price is $180 in AU58.
Asking $176. This is below my cost and includes free US shipping.
