Friend of mine is looking to purchase one of these bills in ms64. Anyone on this forum know what a fair price for this item would be? I have looked at the green sheet and some past auctions but still don't know what to tell him! Any information will be appreciated!

Latest HA Jan 2023 fr275 sold $6600...different Fr # would change things...search HA archives for recent sales.

An 1899 $5 Silver Certificate in 64 Q is currently worth between $5K and $7K depending on Fr.# and eye appeal. Buying a note one grade down (63Q) would save you at least $1K.
