    I did not realize Ken Griffey Jr and Frank Thomas also missed out. All those three players would be in my top 5. Also, I would add Carew, Murphy and/or Suzuki.

    It's a shame that players of that caliber never made it to the big stage.

    Too bad J.R. had a shortened career, and life (RIP). Would have been fun to see him pitch a long and healthy career. Hall of fame material with his stuff!
