just as I am about to buy my key dates.....how did you all determine this? I mean, it looks "off" for sure...beard/face in particular. Any particulars would be welcomed - thank you.
The font on the label is the biggest giveaway.

Good eye! I would not have suspected it at first glance, and the cert verification checks out. This is one reason I'm a proponent of Trueview images. At least you would be able to tell if it was the same coin or not.

Shanghai special, just an older model. They used to pop up a lot on the old version of Alibaba

And the United States uses the U.S. Mint, this coin was of Chinese origin.

Yeah, that one screams "Everything Fake!". Great news that it was removed.

The grade asserted on the label is a reasonable match for the wear on the coin. These are usually way off on fakes.
