Liquid Glass Finish on Coins

Ive seen a few of these recently. To me it looks like a worn coin that has been recoated. The description reads liquid glass BU++++. I guess the more pluses the better, lol.
Im no expert, just trying to get a feel for what kinda sneakiness is going on out there so i know what to steer clear of.

HIGHLY Polished!
To me it looks like when we would polish up coins when I was a kid, but we used 1964 JFK halves. It's definitely messed with and something to avoid like heck.

I can't tell anything by these pics only that something ain't right.

Polished to a high gloss shine. Damaged
You need to appreciate what a mint state coin looks like, then you'll realize what a waste of time it is to ponder over junk ruined coins. Good luck.

Looks Chrome plated to me.
pass
It’s not an attractive effect whatever was done to it.
There’s no detail in the high relief areas of the coin and looks heavily worn underneath that gloss.
As for the color? Anything’s possible.
Hard pass
Edited to add. The suggestion of chrome plating may be the answer as to what was done!

Though your 2016 Silver Eagle is a lovely coin, I might recommend going to the source specific reference of the exact same issue and even date when comparing and evaluating coins.

Where did that number come from?
Hate to see any ruined coin, especially a Walker.

The example you use to compare is a PROOF coin and they will never look like a business strike (your half dollar is a business strike). Need to compare to a half dollar that is Uncirculated like this one on PCGS coin facts:
