Mike Hampton threw left and batted right and for a pitcher was one heck of a hitter.

Pitcher Terry Mulholland also threw left and batted right. But other than Rickey, I'm having a hard time thinking of any position players who threw left and batted exclusively right. There are many left throwers who switch hit but obviously that doesn't count.

Wiffle ball in grade school pe. The other kids noticed I batted lefty and threw right. Made fun of me. Coach defended me said nothing wrong with that. A couple years later George Brett makes the big time batting left throwing right. Hey fellow grade schoolers now who’s the freak? That’s correct you righty righty conforming clowns, you are! 😎

George Brett was actually a natural lefty with ambidextrous ability, choosing to throw righty so he could play on the left side of the infield (shortstop) as a youth. He would often pitch MLB batting practice as a lefty, and I seem to recall seeing some photo evidence of this in the Kansas City Star back in the days of my youth.

Brooks Robinson was also ambidextrous, as he famously signs his autographs with his left hand, which is easily noted in the slant of his signature.

but any type of stance is done from the right side

i thought I was fairly clear, but since i'm apparently coming across as deflective and non-committal........i hit the shift/caps lock/upper case button thingy with a finger that is attached to my left hand

55 years old. I throw and write right handed. I bat and play hockey lefthanded. Play golf righthanded. Use computer mouse with the left hand and also use the left to open difficult jars etc. I may just need therapy.
