1849 half crown, small date?, value?

I am pretty sure it's not the small date but could not find any comparisons. would this make VG or just Good? Is a large date really worth $75 in VG ? (ATS)

    If I had to hazard a guess I'd say large date.

    I concur. I am probably getting old now (don't want to admit that one) but sometimes I think there subjectively is also dies that make it look like there are "medium" date coins also.

    Aaah, yes thanks for the pics. It looks like for the large date the top of the 1 is above the 8 and even or lower for the small date. So mine is the large date, maybe a little better than junk silver.
