Do you throw out cards?

Maybe it's the collector in me that just can't bear to toss out commons, but what do you do with all your worthless cards? Toss them? Keep them? Try and sell them for whatever price you can get? Donte them somewhere?

How much did it sale for is one of the funniest and most ignorant things I've ever heard.
My friends and I had fun burning a monster box of 5000 junk era cards in the fire pit one night.
Unfortunately I do. Living in a city does not allow me the space to store commons. Still keep the stars even though ultra modern base HOFers are never going to be worth anything. Clean out cards once they reach 2 years old. When I get the first ‘23s will toss the ‘21 commons. Hate doing it every time but need the space.
It is funny seeing this thread, as I just recycled 1000's of cards last weekend. About twice a year, I look through my boxes of cards that are 7-8 years old. I usually find a few surprises, but most end up in recycling ... and it breaks my heart seeing cards with perfect corners worth $pennies! LOL
I've had some luck putting them on Facebook Marketplace and just asking people to make reasonable offers on ultra modern. But it did take some time. Junk wax I put 5 or 6 5000 count boxes on the curb and they were gone within in hours.
It's the star/HOF commons I don't know what to do with. I think I need to just start lotting them up by player and put em on eBay or maybe again put em all on Marketplace and see what happens. I don't wanna give them away, but I don't wanna overprice em either. No idea what to price them at. A nickel a card? A dime? Surely nobody will spend 500 on a box of HOF common cards. I dunno if they'd even go for 250.
I usually give them to a co-worker who has young children that are interested in sports.
This is me too. Something has to go and it's all the commons. I try to cull the perfect ones, but sooner or later they find their way out the door!
I use to toss out commons for years and years but then back around late 2017, I started getting interested in sending out cards to players who sign in the mail. It's fun and cheap. always nice to find an envelope (or a few) of players who you sent out for an autograph request. Especially when you sent out to a big-name player and you didn't except that return. '
Below is my IG page in case anyone is interested in seeing who signs. I also do also get in person autographs. Those are usually the bigger name (retired) or even active players.

You should all mail them to the guy that makes artwork with them.
I package them up in team bags and give them away at Halloween. A bit of work, but the kids love them.
Short answer: yep. Have even bought albums at yard sales/ flea markets and pulled a few cards and thrown away the whole albums and sheets.
Burn baby burn!
Not only do I not throw out cards, I think I have the wrapper from every freaking non-cello pack I've ever opened, including 1988 Donruss. Yeah, it's a disorder probably.
there comes a point where space becomes an issue. I have thrown out junk wax era cards before
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
