Call on certified high denoms

I got a call from a local guy on some coins and notes; I don't buy notes much, and it is hard figuring a reasonable buy price on the two high denoms..

What do you figure are reasonable buy/sells on notes like this? Checking HA the $1000 notes in XF look to be selling over $4000, $500 notes in this grade around $2000 or more:

The Fr.2212-G in XF is selling between approximately $3,500 - $4,000. The Fr.2201-L in VF is selling between approximately $1,000 - $1,500. Both notes would bring about 10-15% more if they were designated with EPQ.

Ok, thanks. The guy called a number of potential buyers. If you buy 20% behind likely sell price I would think that would be fair.

High denomination ($500 & $1,000) notes are hot right now. Prices are trending up.

Love them, I was able to get a $500 at a great price but not the $1000. I can’t believe what the $1000 are going for now.
