Purchased this three years ago

Knowing that someday this

Would need this

So that (the one on the right) could become a part of the collection.

Both graphs nicely placed but the one on the right placed perfectly along the boards, with the y hooked onto his jersey. Couldn’t of asked for a better placed graph.

Both went with this to PSA

I should have results within a few weeks.

The other card is NM, but it has the printers line which 20% comes from the factory with.
That will drop it a lot.

    Purchased this three years ago.

Had to get it signed because the centering is unusual for this card.
I like signed cards as centered as possible.

It’s at PSA on a 10 day order. A little concerned because my 4 other orders are on stage 3 and this 10 day order just says received. Stage 1

A very nice graph over the white knee pads. Top left.
The opc on the left are 8 and 6 I think. The Topps on the right could be 9 and 7, but who knows.

Saw this one from a seller on eBay. Look what they did to this poor guys beautiful card. Could you imagine if your high grade card was returned like this.😳

I was excited to see PSA authenticated my 1968 opc Orr variation. Great job by them.

It’s so hard when you send cards to get signed. They can and do drop a grade and we just have to accept it.

Here are some POP 1’s with none higher (so far).

Only one PSA 8 on the cups. Just too much handling because they were NM-MT+.

These I got signed just because the centering on them was unusually good.

The 1967 may pop by Friday. Today is day 4 of a 3 day turnaround.

Waiting for these Topps (top) and OPC (bottom) to pop.

Probably a 6 and 5, but both have above average centering.

Speaking of awesome, my buddies Rocket collection. 10 straight Stanley Cup appearances along with Plante, Harvey, Boom Boom and Beliveau. Montreal’s all time leading goal scorer.

Richard always had such a nice clean legible signature. It seemed like he and Ted Williams went to the same school for learning how to sign an autograph.

Your autographed Orr collection takes a back seat to no one! That Orr All Star is particularly striking. Absolutely beautiful. And your recent Lemieux rookie purchases are gorgeous. We certainly have similar collecting habits. Congratulations...

Agreed. If I could go back in time I would get Plante ink in the sky and Rocket ink on the ground in a 5 or better.

    Yours the same.

Orr has done one show his entire life. He’s a shy goat. Everything is private and his costs are high. You have to be a dummy or dedicated to send your high grade cards out.

My 67 Topps will be ready today.

    PSA 8.5 = win
    PSA 8 = tie
    PSA 7.5 = loss

It was not easy finding these without the white fish eye near his knee, no white specs in the stands, and 60/40 centering. The eye appeal on this card drops a lot if those three standards are not met.

Thanks. I have another Topps Lemieux rookie at PSA right now.
I think it’s at least a 9 and a chance for a 10. No red chipping on the back borders at all, but who knows.

Which Orr AS do you prefer, the 5 or the 6.

I had strong inclinations about cracking the 1967 8.5 for half a year and then it happened.

I’m starting to think about this one too.

Probably not for now though. My 4 is the only one graded so far so I don’t know yet. Love getting mid grade cards signed from him in a 4.

Forgot about this nicely centered one. Like it a lot because of the centering and nicely placed graph.

Here’s the AS side by side. Both are nice, but the graph on the six is superb. The five graph is great too. Centering is top shelf.

I have to say I like the 5 over the 6 but both are great

I think you’re right and I agree with you.

I will post again when the 74 opc pops. It’s on stage 7 of 8 so it could be by Friday.

These came in this month also.

The two on the right will go to PSA.
The two on the left I will keep raw for trades.

My favorite of the “4” is this one.

Still plenty of room for a 3rd autograph - Espo - Cheevers - Bucyk ?

Given my 2 favorite players are Orr and the Turk, I would leave as is but you are correct, adding Espo seems logical. He certainly earned it taking all those cross checks in the back as he camped out in front of net. Was this the year he scored 13 goals in 14 playoff games?

I never thought to do this card with both. Great idea!

I agree with both of you. Just got the FedEx package today. Will post again when the other grades pop.

The thought came from Turk assisting Orr on his famous goal, and Orr assisting Turk during his tough times in his life.

Card pics with grades are coming
    today or tomorrow.

    1974 opc……

    PSA 8 = win
    PSA 7= loss

    1967 Topps #92

    PSA 4 = win
    PSA 3 = loss

    One win and one loss.

Goes to show that cracking slabs has as much risk as cracking wax packs, even though I’ll send this in for review but there’s no guarantee.

    Here’s the loss.

This NM card has a minimal printers line from the factory but it’s beautiful otherwise.

Thought it was a 3 or 4 at best. Couldn’t be happier because it’s a strong NM card.

Both of these are two of my favorites. One on the left was my first sub to PSA 30ish years ago.

Card on the left is a strong NM but has that factory printers line. It does not take much of a back seat to it’s bigger brother on the right.
