Yes, it is a legit photo, young Burrow was at an Iowa Barnstormer game with his mom in the photo. Perhaps he dreamed of playing for the Chiefs one day, very ironic!

He was born in Iowa and moved around as his father changed college coaching jobs, finally ending up near Ohio University which is in Athens, Ohio in the extreme southeastern part of the state not far from the Ohio River. From there it was on to Ohio State and a transfer to LSU. So no, not born in Louisiana, he just ended up there for a few years and the rest is history.
