Very few MS62 coins- especially Morgans- are attractive.
I was surprised and impressed by this one that just arrived today.
Honestly- I've seen MS64s looking much worse. Much worse!
So, I present to you a "keeper" MS62 and would love to see yours too.

What keeps the 1860 from an MS63?!
The strike is strong and there are no distracting blemishes.
Perhaps the luster?
I don't know. . . That's a great coin (along with the 1890.
The 1890 5$ Liberty looks better too.

@braddick - agree re: 1860-O. The coin's overall quality is impressive in hand and I do think it's a 63.

Good idea for a thread. Here’s a 62 I am fond of—although, it’s currently at PCGS for Reconsideration.
Here’s a Barber that I bought in an ANACS soapbox (also MS62) about 20 years ago and crossed.
And here’s a chocolate colored 2c that has a green bean.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Nothing wrong with these two either.

The first one was an NGC 63 but downgraded to a PCGS 62. On the other hand, here is one that was an NGC 62 and upgraded to a PCGS 63 (so it doesn’t quite count but I want to show it anyways
@LeeBone went back and saw the 94 was gone. Great pickup! I'm jealous.

Went through every dang slab we have and do not have a 62. I’ll dig deeper because unwanted is right up my alley. The number of sellers who thank me profusely for some rookie purchases is not insignificant 😂
