SOLD
Four double-row long boxes (almost) full of transportation tokens. I estimate around 1500 in total. Most are metal, but a few are plastic and wooden. In paper envelopes and cardboard 2x2s. There is some duplication (since these were a collector's duplicates to his main collection). They are all catalogued and organized.
It includes a 44-page inventory (of sorts), but I haven't had the time to verify it. It shows 1488 pieces with an old catalog value of $973.60.
I have added a few related things to this collection since purchasing it, and they will also be included:
1) The "store card" of J. M. Coffee, Jr., the editor of The Farebox. Very cool brass advertising token that looks like a transportation token with a "C" in the center.
2) United Transportation Union 1969 medal in gilt bronze (?).
3) San Francisco Cable Car Token from the St. Francis (Hotel?) dated 1978.
4) Copper 10-year anniversary of some German Railway line medal (1965-1975).
5) 1939 Golden Gate International Expo aluminum medal for aluminum in the famous Union Pacific Streamliners.
6) Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Company and Museum $5 Contribution Value (plastic token).
7) 33rd Annual Convention of American Vecturist Association 1983 plastic token (reverse has advertisement for a collector).
All this for a total price of $500 shipped to a US address. This would make a good winter project!
Please note, I will not ship these in the long double-row boxes but will repack the tokens in other boxes. This is because the double-row boxes are too long to fit in a Flat Rate Priority Mail box causing the shipping cost to exceed $70. If you prefer to have the original double-row boxes, please add an additional $50 for the added shipping cost. Otherwise, I will find other suitable boxes to repack these into.
PPFF, Zelle, or check preferred. Thanks for looking!

Can you send me a few more poctures of the tokens? Like 2 or 3 group shots of 5 to 10 tokens?
HAPPY COLLECTING
Of course. Coming shortly.
I pulled the first bunch of tokens out of each row in each box:
Still available.
For $0.33 per coin it is a good opportunity for a collector who want to specialize in transportation tokens.
The latest edition of the reference book was just released, and I still have this group available. Anyone?
Anyone for a winter project?
