By “made”, I assume raw coins that we got certified.
I don’t consider these late dates, but it’s your thread & you posted a coronet type so….

And I realize that you are one of the few on here that can appreciate them.
In retrospect I would have been better off spending my $ on toner AU bust halves rather than drecky looking large cent varieties…but as they say, once that copper bug bites you, it doesn’t let go.

i have noticed certain character traits amongst eac members as there is something humbling about the lowely 1c denom that only certain people can appreciate. (not to be inflammatory, just an observation)
in reading that thread (from nearly 12 years ago), i still remember how nervous i was swimming in the deep end of the pool AND trying to make a serious post about a serious coin(s). though it didn't really start off as i had hoped (much to my horror) i was kinda happy with myself that i managed to keep most of my composure, even wondering at the time if this was in fact a good place for me or not. heck, i even prefaced it in the op that i had hoped it would be a serious, informative and enjoyable convo and to please keep the shenanigans down but a few people who obviously had no idea what i was talking about just about permanently derailed my mediocre efforts. whom in the heck would own 4 s-79s. would be one for the books!!!
i appreciated your contribution to one of my first "big" threads (to me) those many years ago that i kinda bumped yesterday about the 1795 1c s-79.
still have yet to come across great images of that monster brockage error s-79.
I bought this one raw at auction. On the surface, you wouldn't think so, but some of these middle dates are pretty hard to find.
I knew it would happen.
