SOLD
.

I hate to do this, but do it I must. After completing collecting the full spectrum of the Felix Schlag designed Jefferson Nickels, I sadly must part ways with them.

For your consideration are the following:
.

.
Full Steps Nickel Club - 1938 Felix Schlag Jefferson Nickel Design Award (FSNC-2002) SEGS slabbed silver pair - matte and proof - SOLD

.

Both S/N# #789
.
.

.

.

.
Next up for your consideration

Landis Studios - 1938 Felix Schlag design Jefferson Nickel - 2021 restrike set - silver matte / silver proof / and the coveted nickel planchet strike - all S/N #33 - SOLD

.

Mintage on the silver pair limited to 100, mintage on the nickel planchet strike limited to 40. All three of these bear the same serial number - #33. Not sure how many full sets like this exist.
.
.

.

.

.
Next . . . . . .

Landis Studios - 1938 Felix Schlag design Jefferson Nickel - 2021 restrike - Copper Proof set-up test strike - SOLD

.

According to Ron Landis (the minter), only a handful of copper planchets were struck using the proof dies used in striking the Felix Schlag gold pieces.

.

Watching the Landis Studios Vintage Stock page at the time, I think only four or five were ever sold.

The photos below you can see the copper (upper right) with the silver pair and the nickel planchet strikes.

For a long while, this was my "poor man's gold" Schlag.

.
And finally . . . . .

Landis Studios 2021 Felix Schlag design Jefferson Nickel restrike set - Gold Proof

.

Message me to discuss this one, if interested. SOLD

.

This strike is #16 of the 17 produced. It is as struck. The artifacts you see in the photos below are due to the bad lighting and poor camera techniques of it's owner, not defects in the coin itself. It took me quite a while to secure one of these and I hate to let it go, but go it must.

.

.

.

.

But wait, there's MORE . . . . . . Final Final BONUS offering

.

.

1938 Wilhelm & Frank Hejda Jefferson Nickel Pattern (proof .925 silver) - SOLD
.
Originally struck in England, these Jefferson design competition "runner-up" pieces are exceptionally tough to come by.

When they do come up on the secondary market, they command "moon money." My acquisition of this one was no exception.

Thank you for your consideration!
