I have no idea if these are the same person, but PCGS member @Dahlonega was Dr. David Patton and he passed away in late 2021.

Thanks @TomB . I hope it was someone else as I remember seeing updates to the sets last year. They seem to have a CAR set, perhaps @MrEureka would know. I'll ping him.
