Can someone tell me why this circulated 2017 $2 Star note sold for $34 + $5.40

eBay auction 234813915875

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

Yes, because one star is solid, the other isn't. Its a minor error note

Yes, what Ted said. Solid star error. My example. I believe I paid $75 for mine.

    Thanks for the education!
Yesterday at the bank I asked the teller if she had any $2 bills. She pulled out a crisp stack of 50 sequential Star notes. After learning about Solid Star notes I checked my stack of 50 and found several.
