Two questions for the board, totally unrelated

1) 1988 fleer stickers - basketball - I've noticed that some of the psa 9 graded ones look like they have wax on the back. Is this normal? There is a larry bird psa 9 on ebay and looked like it had wax on it.
2) 1993 Topps Gold vs the inaugural cards. Jeter, kent, Edmonds, Piazza, Griffey, Kendall, Value and scarcity wise which ones are the ones to have? it looks the Jeter Gold sales for more than the inaugurals, but the inaugurals are 4 or 5 times scarcer.
Thanks in advance.

Unless PSA has changed grading policies, but on 1986 and 1988 Fleer Basketball stickers, if there is wax on the back, the flip should have a (ST) qualifier for stain (of course I don't know if they still use that qualifier anymore since they removed qualifiers starting early last year) Maybe the Bird would have been a 10 if it didn't have wax?
They did not remove qualifiers. They will assign them when it is appropriate.

the psa 9 bird on ebay right now for $475 looks like it does
Personally I would go in this order:
1. Marlins Inaugural - PR 6,000
2. Rockies Inaugural - PR 10,000
3. Gold - PR More than above 😀
For Jeter’s card, PSA 9 sold listings:
Marlins - $200
Rockies - $250 - $275
Gold - $100
So it seems to hold true that the inaugural cards sell for more and are more scarce than the gold.
Not sure why the marlins is cheaper now, but that would be the one I would go for.
Mr Edmonds looks good in his inaugural I picked up.
