I bought Saflips recently, but looking closer , there is an oily rainbow color effect that can be seen through them, is it still safe to put a coin inside?

Optical illusion.
They are the best on the market.
That's how they look. It's not caused by oil.

Ok, thank you very much, I got lots of them and I was afraid that I will not be able to use them.

I use then for my ancients. The only problem is, over time, they tend to split or crack, and you have to replace it with another,
"Oily rainbow colours" are caused by the thin film optic effect. It is, incidentally, the exact same law of physics that causes the various colours on nicely toned coins.
In this case, I think the "thin film" is actually a thin layer of air sandwiched in between the two layers of plastic in the flip.

Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD.

The PCGS holders themselves have that same optical effect when you look at them at an angle.

Thank you all, I feel much better now, coins getting in happily!

Like colors on soap bubbles, those colors are the result of light passing through the surface facing you and then being reflected back from the other surface so the light becomes refracted as with a prism.

You even see that on PMG holders.
