Ebay: 1904 Panama 5 Centesimos Brings a Big Price Tonight!

I was watching with some interest as a currency 1904 5 Centesimos closed on ebay tonight. The bidding was most enthusiastic by I believe 9 bidders and reached $1225 - this with a catalogue "value" of $80.
I had been trying to get one as I was missing the denomination, but that was seemingly a bit higher than a bit, if you know what I mean...

I ought to list my “Panama Pill” on eBay and see what it can bring. I guess I should slab it first.

That seems to be the trend though there are quite a few about. About 5 years ago I got an ex-Michael Peykar 1905 50 centesimos AND a now graded 1904 25 cents. now in PCGS MS65 for about 280 dollars & guess they may have gone "upstairs" now by quite a bit....

Do not own any coin from Panama. Was this not the proof type (mintage of 12)?

Can you share the url link here?

Not the proof, and another just closed that was MS63, the first OP coin and MS64....It closed at 202.50 USD (the MS63). The other closed on the OP date (8 January, 2023).
