1960s-early 70s unopened packs good stable future appreciation?

Although unopened boxes from the 80s and 90s have calmed a bit....there is still much out there to prevent prices from surging again as it did during covid. Graded packs from the 80s and 90s are hit and miss too. What I did notice was that there are still not many PSA vintage unopened packs from the 60s and early 70s. Recently I went searching for 60s to early 70s baseball cello packs from BBCE. They were there one day and gone the next. I believe prices for this decade should hold up well if you cant find or afford a full box. What does anyone think for future appreciation for these types of packs?

The future is so bright I gotta wear...
I think pre 1980 wax is very undervalued. I generally agree on cellos but there is always a concern that people know the print collation so the pack contains nothing of significant value. For cellos I like boxes that are BBCE Authenticated from a sealed case (but these are virtually impossible to find pre 1980).
Perfect.
I don’t know how you can say it’s undervalued. How stratospheric do prices of unopened have to become before people stop calling it undervalued? A BBCE 1976 wax box sold for $1400 in 2009, and sold for over $18000 (or $500 per pack) in 2021. How high would it have to go to no longer be undervalued?
A BBCE 1976 wax box can be had on Ebay right now for less than $9000. That is half what one sold for in 2021. I think we all see that prices got way too crazy way too fast in 2021. But at less than $9000 I personally believe this box is undervalued. The available supply on these wax boxes is extremely low. The demand for pack fresh cards is extremely high. With that said I am not a huge believer in 1976. I personally think 1974 due to how tough they are to find and 1975 due to the larger popularity are the years from the 70's that are currently the most undervalued.
I was buying 1978 Topps Wax boxes in the mid 2000's from BBCE for $500 during my complete graded set journey and a 3 box rack case for $2,200. I thought I was taking one for the team at that price point. Boy I'm glad I did and wish I kept a few untouched lol.

I think that 1976 box is opc
BBCE is currently asking $15,000 for one.
A nice BBCE 76 OPC box for under 9k is a decent deal imho.
You are correct, my mistake, the one on Ebay is OPC. Which is probably an even better deal. OPC wax is damn rare.
Rarer but not nearly as popular. Scarcity doesnt always equate to value.
