Help attributing this Shield Nickel variety

I picked this 1874 nickel off eBay last month, it has a very strong doubled obverse die which is only visible on the top of the shield. Normally varieties like this will also show some doubling of the annulet or the cross, but I cannot find any hint on this coin. As far as I can tell it is not listed in Fletcher, I am curious if it is known to anyone else.
There also appears to be a small cud to the right of the date, which is not at all unusual for Shield nickels but could have caused this die to have a short life.

I think you have the FS-104, but the coin is just too worn to see the doubling on the annulet (the impression of the doubled annulet is weak to begin with on this variety). Nice find!

afaik, howard still has the current authoritative reference for shield nickels and you will probably need his info or someone else that has it that will attribute for you in order to pin this one down, if possible due to wear.
when you get it in-hand, plz confirm the possible cud. it looks like a hit of the rim from the small pic.
i use this from time-to-time but hasn't been updated in years or at least the date hasn't been updated.

Thanks - it's been 3 years, but I've held out hope that eventually someone would appreciate the pun.
I do not see the very strong doubling
The extra horizontal lines at the upper portion of shield are similar to the FS-104, but the ring is not apparent due to wear.
