Hard to digest!!
I heard about that yesterday.
Just hope the baby will be okay.
Awful stuff, very difficult situation dealing with anyone stricken with mental illness let alone with drug abuse added in
Thank god to whoever it was that notified the police, that person likely saved that baby's life.

No excuse for doing that to a newborn baby, no excuse. Apparently Dennis and his wife have tried numerous times over the years to help her get sober and clean up her life, but some people you just can't reach, it's really sad.
The name's Jones....freakin' Mustache Jones.
Saw the headlines but didn't read into it - didn't realize it was Eck's own daughter (adopted).
Hard to believe this is where that women gave birth to the baby - I'm guessing she has no involvement with Dennis and his wife?
Alexandra Eckersley is facing a felony charge of reckless conduct after her newborn baby was found in 18-degree weather in a wooded area in New Hampshire.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Stay strong Eck, you and your family will be in our prayers.
I have absolutely no use for people like her. I think she should be facing an attempted murder charge. i mean, good grief, what did she expect to happen when she abandoned a newborn naked in 18 degree weather. what a waste of flesh.
and that poor poor baby. i just hope he/she is ok

Here's a statement from the Eckersley family:
And an update on the baby:https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/eckersley-family-in-complete-shock-asks-people-to-withhold-judgment-of-daughter/2931860/The boy, believed to be born three months early, was 4.4 lbs. and taken to a hospital, officials have said. He survived at least 73 minutes in the 15-degree weather, even while a state police dog was brought in to help find what officials believed would be a body.
"At last check, the baby is doing well," a Manchester police representative told NBC10 Boston Wednesday.
Little guy sounds like a survivor, hopefully Eck and his family get the chance to take him home.
