System-P1Q : Cellphone Copy Stand with Lights

I started selling the Cellphone copy stands back in July. See my original BST thread here:

https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1078708/cellphone-copy-stand

I have sold quite a few since then, and most folks have opted either for the stand without lights, or they add a pair of the new Quans goosenecks. The new Quans are pretty nice. They can plug into USB for power, and also come with their own USB power plugs. They also come with built-in diffuser so you don't need to add diffusion for most work.

I've updated my website to show the stand configured for two lights, see below. Also have updated the pricing. The system shown below, with a pair of the Quans lights, is $220. Typical shipping is $25.

PM me if you're interested and I can put a stand together for you.

Do you have sample pictures taken with your system showing a whole coin or slab? I see super close ups on your web page.

Are the gooseneck lights attached to the wood frame?

How long are the cords on the gooseneck lights?

I shot the coin shown above using my only phone, an old Samsung J7. My J7 does OK for full slabs but it is not so good on zooming in on full coins. Maybe Dollars, but not Cents.

Keep in mind that this copy stand requires a phone, and the phone will determine the overall quality of the photo. If you have a newer Samsung or Apple phone you can shoot very good overall slab as well as full-coin photos, and this stand is designed to help you make the best of your phone.

Anyway, here's the overall slab photo. Note the true grey background allows you to keep an accurate color reference in your photo and also so you can do white balance after the fact.

Yes, I have attached the light bases to the wood copy stand base. They take up room but it's nice to have them be stable and consistent.

The cords are ~5ft long. They have an inline electronic on/off switch which also allows you to change the color temperature to either "warm" or "cool" white, and also a brightness control.
