Well, actually, when I saw the Denny Doyle notice, strangely, there was a link to the Denny Doherty story. Why they would have it so close is a mystery to me. I should have checked it more closely, and not made such an obvious mistake.

For all of you Nolan Ryan fans.....On April 18, 1970 while playing for the Phillies, Denny Doyle led off the game with a first inning single. It was the only hit that Ryan allowed while pitching 9 complete innings. Impressive.
