Joe Lipscomb, world famous blogger and and thinker on sports statistics, recently concluded an in-depth study to determine who is the greatest athlete of all time in Baseball, Football, Basketball, and Hockey adjusted for Height and size (weight.).......
His Conclusions....
Pedro Martinez- Baseball
Tom Brady - Football
Larry Bird - Basketball
Bobby Orr -Hockey

Lipscomb concluded that the two most determining factors that contributed to the final results were athletic ability combined with superior cognitive genius.

Personally, I think that the two most determining factors that contributed to the final results were athletic ability combined with the secret ingredient in those famous Boston Baked Beans.....Just Sayin'....

GO BOSTON!

Showboat, I'm as cool as a cucumber. The study I mentioned is legit. Weird angle to take but whatever.... I did change the name of the researcher....Just for effect..... O.K.?......After reading it last night, I gave it a lot of thought. Based on the few people that I know who are native Bostonians, including an uncle of mine, they LOVE their Boston teams....maybe the most fanatical sports fans in the country?.... And maybe their enthusiasm rubs off on the players! I think so....But I don't agree about Martinez. The greatest baseball player of all time is SANDY KOUFAX. 😁

You'll like this Showboat......22(?) years ago I was on a business trip in Bloomington, Indiana. It was early Sunday morning and I left Town for Indianapolis to get The Lovely Mrs. Hydrant™ to the airport there. At some point The Lovely Mrs Hydrant™ needed to make a rest stop. I pulled into a gas station and waited outside. While I was waiting, A very tall blonde man walked in front of my truck.....I thought, that guy looks a lot like Larry Bird....people in this part of the country look alike...that's not uncommon. The Lovely Mrs Hydrant™ eventually showed up and as I was pulling out onto the street, I looked over and saw the tall blonde guy standing in front of a building with a giant sign that read, "Larry Bird Chevrolet.".... Celebrity Sighting!

    The Tall Blonde Guy

I just looked it up. It was Larry Bird .....Ford-Lincoln-Mercury."

Post a link to the study. Please, share with the class.

    .....
Larry Legend is the basketball GOAT. In my opinion.
