Why would my post be removed?

    Unless it was extremely controversial (offensive) it is not common for the moderators to delete a thread. Occassiinally (not often) they will move one to another category.

    There is a bug where once on a while someone's post might "disappear", or actually not post in the first place.

    Those questions don't seem unreasonable. I'd try reposting.

    There is a possibility your post might have been closed by the moderator. I don't know if that is why it was deleted as you suggest.
