Cashier and I fumbled the change handoff. I hopped out, grabbed mine, and more, waved to the queue, and stuffed a bill in the RM House box. This one was there with a drooling SRide quarter.

Damn, I drop change all the time but how the Hell do you "Hop Out" when your drivers door is so close to the Drive In Window at the building?
Gotsta to let me know - Then I'll be going throught the drive through just to get the change on the ground -

Work truck with bench seat; I had to go out the passenger door for the additional change and bills. I don’t know how spry I appeared.
Steer wide next time and drop the change on purpose if you see anything.

Frankly given the title I also scrutinized the image thinking there's some variety there that I couldn't see... given how this is a collector's forum and all, it's a logical thing to assume. Not sure why you feel the need to be snotty with someone over it.

I see that one has a oil residue.
I'm just wondering how much cash/change can be found at all these drive-thru windows? I'm also wondering if part of the job description of the drive-thru window employees , is to go outside and check the ground after the establishment has closed for the evening.
I say this because I still check the coin returns on pay phones.

I know of one and it probably never gets used.
I own a payphone. Not only do I pay to use it, Everytime anybodey asks to use my phone I charge a dollar -

I see change all the time at my local McDs. I mentioned to the manager once and he says that he goes out every night and collects it.
